This venture got its start in 1976 in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We moved to a neighboring town and, like most 8-year-old boys, it was easier for my parents to get me a beagle then listen to me wanting one...and my "vocation began". I no longer breed Beagles after almost 45 years in them. In 1998 I moved to Victory VT on a parcel of land that had been in family since 1930 the Patridge Homestead Solon & Bertha Patridge my Great Grand Parents on my father side. In 2020 I picked up my operation and dogs and moved 900 miles south to Greenbrier County West Virginia. I am currently located in Clintonville. As my "Tenor" in dog's winds down I went to a place I have been familiar to since 1990 and it didn't have 7 months of WINTER! I had a "few good friends" & the Whitetail hunting was GREAT!
My name is Greg Hovey. I am the owner and operator of this kennel. I have a degree in Biology from the University of Vermont, Class of 1990. My prime object here is to provide my customers, both hunters and pet owners alike, with the absolute finest Labrador available.

I began breeding dogs in the 1980's my experience is with AKC Beagles; I got my first lab in 1994 and he remained at my side happy and healthy until just short of his 15th birthday....God Bless You BRUIN. I really thoroughly enjoyed that experience and I have had several lab's since. I have been breeding them on a LARGER scale for about 10 years FULL TIME! I intend to bring to this breeding endeavor a very successful tenor of 35 years + of dog breeding to a close here in West Virginia. Please take the time to examine my current Labradors Available & Upcoming Litters. I have looked long and hard to FIND & DEVELOP these AKC ENGLISH FOX RED LABRADORS they are the basis for my breeding program.
The majority of my stock comes from show lines. I have AMONGST EXCLUSIVELY ENGLISH LINES. Whether you are a hunter or a family looking for a companion an English Labrador is an excellent choice!
